About

I am an artist from Upstate New York and I enjoy all forms of art. Art has always been a big part of my life. I consider myself a visual and a hands on type of person. I took all of the art classes I could all through school and worked as an artist and digital type setter for a company right out of high school. I was able to learn every aspect of this business which was a printing plate production company that made printing plates for corrugated boxes during my time there. 

It think it was while working here and designing logos and other art using the computer that I realized this is really enjoyable and something I would like to continue to do. I am sort of a "Jack of all trades" however my passion is in the arts. In 2015 I began classes at SUNY Empire State College where I am working toward completing my Bachelors of Arts degree in the Arts with a concentration in Digital Media Arts. I plan to continue my college career with ESC toward a Masters Degree. Eventually I would like to pursue  a doctorate degree. During my career here @ ESC. I have taken many classes and learned so much about art. I have studied such courses History and theory of the arts, the impact that art has had on cultures around the globe and the positive and negative effect of art. I have learned about art from many different aspects including such topics as marketing, management, information design, literacy, software, web design, photography, theater, music, film and career just to name a few.

 For me I like to work with the Adobe Suite of programs and try new things with art. I find it to be very satisfying to make art this way. Adobe is always updating the software with new tools and also coming up with new software all together. This makes the possibilities endless and so enjoyable. I like to create fantasy art but also enjoy more serious art. I like to design logos, brochures, flyers, illustrations and even full design concepts.  I do a lot of photo fixing, manipulations and even some photography. 

 I plan on continuing to do art for as long as I can.
